Rebuilding Resiliency

REBUILDING COMMUNITY FROM THE GROUND UP  Fountaingrove’s new clubhouse embraces the paradox of building a strong and vibrant community after the devastation wrought by the fires of 2017. Intended to feel as a second home and encourage use throughout all times of the day, the design also provides a flexible work place for members and guests.

BRINGING TOGETHER VARIED INTERESTS AND NEEDS  BAR assisted the Club in re-envisioning the property’s master plan to foster interaction and inclusiveness by bringing different user groups together despite the dispersed nature of club amenities.

DOING MORE WITH LESS  Integrating architecture and interiors and indoor-outdoor use, the design optimized the insurance funding available by reducing the indoor conditioned space and maximizing the adjacent outdoor space available for members. Additionally, the efficiently designed two-story building footprint optimizes the exterior skin to interior volume ratio.
