DESIGNING FOR SENIORS With a mix of studios and one-bedrooms, a variety of outdoor gathering spaces is a key element of the design for this affordable senior housing community located near shopping, community facilities and BART.
GATHER TOGETHER In addition to providing options for ground level outdoor flexible gathering space that includes a large patio area, gardens and pet area, the design also incorporates outdoor space located in different areas on each floor, breaking up and adding interest to the external façade.
SUSTAINABILITY IS ELECTRIC Designed to be an all-electric building, solar power will be incorporated and a .5 parking ratio per unit is planned.
