URBAN GARDEN  Strong indoor/outdoor connections such as views to Henry Miller Plaza, the Rail Trail, and over Downtown Los Banos; sparking curiosity, and educating the community.

INDUSTRIAL  Simple forms, structural elements, and timeless materials such as metal, wood, and concrete in reference to the historical structures along the Rail Trail.

INTERCONNECTED  Forming connections between past, present, existing urban fabric, and content of the museum’s collections through carefully oriented building massing, circulations, and views. Designed in collaboration with Jones & Jones.
