Pacific Avenue Residence

San Francisco, CA

NEW LIFE FOR HISTORIC PROPERTY  This landmarked 1924 Pacific Heights home was completely renovated to accommodate a family and their art collection while preserving and respecting the home’s historic status. The historic exterior contrasts with a modern, light-filled interior, providing an elegantly appropriate setting for an extensive modern art collection.

A MODERN HOME WITH CLASSIC BONES  The interior of the home was re-envisioned to be modern, spacious and elegant while accommodating five bedrooms, six baths, a new wine cellar, home office, dressing rooms, a large family room and new kitchen, as well as provisions for a future elevator and swimming pool.

ATTENTION TO DETAIL THROUGHOUT  Clean, contemporary lines and ample wall space highlight the art while also focusing attention on a cantilevered cubic stone stair with custom bronze handrails, steel windows, a hammered bronze fireplace and flush wood cabinet detailing.
