CONTEMPORARY SONOMA FARM HOUSE Inspired by barns and agricultural structures typical of the Sonoma wine country, this house is designed as a residential compound that creates private outdoor space for indoor/outdoor living, preserves oak trees and orients the home to views.
WINE COUNTRY INDOOR/OUTDOOR LIVING The simple building masses provide for generous living spaces with high ceilings and large openings that connect seamlessly to outdoor terraces for enjoyment of the temperate Wine Country climate.
TOUCH THE SITE LIGHTLY The clustered farm compound design with glassy links allow existing oak trees to be preserved and the buildings integrate with the topography, minimizing impact to the site. Natural wood siding materials and areas of dark colored roofs and windows alternate to minimize visual impact and blend the home with the beautiful wooded site.
