Cardinale Winery

Napa Valley, CA
Description Credits/Info

During a warm fall day when the grapes are ripe and ready for the crush, the Cardinale Wineries are a wine-lover's retreat in the heart of the Napa Valley. The rustic architecture respects the scale and character of the agricultural history of the area. A maker of Lokoya, Cardinale and Pepi wines, the 500,000 case upper and lower wineries include a 160,000 gsf wine production facility, a hospitality center and tasting room. The expansion of an existing 1970's stone building included a new second story addition which provides visitors with dramatic views of the valley and glimpses into the fermentation tanks located a floor below, the construction of below grade barrel storage and the reconfiguration and expansion of the visitor parking accommodations.
