BAR-designed projects included in Unbuilt San Francisco: Ambition and Imagination exhibition

Curated by John King, San Francisco urban design critic, and Waverly Lowell, Curator, CED Environmental Design Archives, this five-venue exhibition showcased architectural visions for the region that never came to be.

The exhibit featured concepts that show the desire of the moment, and in turn, shine a light on the culture in which it was born. Two BAR-designed projects – Transbay Blocks 6&7, and Trinity Plaza – were included in the exhibit.

Three drawings from the BAR archives were displayed at UC Berkeley's College of Environmental Design, 110 Wurster Hall, Other venues included the AIA Center for Architecture + Design, the SF Public Library Skylight Gallery, the CA Historical Society, and the SPUR Urban Center Gallery.
