THE COVE ELEUTHERA RECOGNIZED WITH MICHELIN KEY DISTINCTION AND NEWH TOP ID AWARD
The Cove Eleuthera has continued to receive significant international recognition following its reopening, with recent features in publications including Condé Nast Traveler, Forbes, CA Home+Design, Hospitality Design, Hotel Above Par, and The Telegraph. The property was also recognized with a Michelin Key distinction, reinforcing its position among the Caribbean’s most exceptional hospitality destinations. Most recently, BAR Architects & Interiors was honored with the TopID Award from NEWH Los Angeles Founding Chapter for its work on the project, recognizing excellence in hospitality interior design.
Last Saturday, members of our BAR Interiors team had the pleasure of joining the NEWH Los Angeles Founding Chapter for their Oscar Brunch, a celebration that brought together the hospitality design community to recognize design excellence while investing in the future generation of industry talent.
At the heart of the event is NEWH’s mission to advance education and create opportunities for emerging professionals pursuing careers in hospitality. Through its scholarship program, the organization has awarded more than $10 million to over 3,200 students, helping shape the next generation of designers and leaders.
We were especially honored to see BAR recognized with the TopID Award for our work on The Cove Eleuthera in the Bahamas, and to have our Director of Interior Design, Tim Hepworth, participate as a panel speaker. This recognition reflects not only design excellence, but also a shared commitment to supporting the broader hospitality community and its future.
What stayed with us most, however, was the spirit of the gathering itself. A room filled with peers, collaborators, partners, and friends, all connected by a shared belief in design’s ability to shape experience and in the importance of lifting others along the way.
Thank you to the NEWH Los Angeles Founding Chapter for hosting such a memorable event and for continuing to invest in the future of our industry. We also extend our congratulations to fellow TopID Award recipients Leo A Daly and DLR Group, as well as to this year’s scholarship winners.
