BAR Architects & Interiors announces Zach Prowda’s promotion to Principal.

As Director of our Los Angeles studio, Zach has played a vital role in shaping a broad range of impactful projects – from affordable & market-rate housing to higher education, institutional, hospitality, and custom residential design across California.

Zach leads with a process-driven, people-centered approach, working closely with clients and teams to craft spaces that are warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully composed.

Beyond the studio, Zach is deeply engaged in community impact and advancing equity in the profession. He serves as Co-Chair of ULI Los Angeles’ Membership Committee and supports nonprofit efforts through BAR’s Social Impact Group.
