INSPIRATION / SELECTED PROJECTS
“Design is a journey more than a destination, a verb more than a noun. It’s a process, sometimes but not always linear, that leads to a resolution. I’m energized by the urban and natural landscapes around me and eager to participate in their place making.”
What makes really great design?
Order. It becomes so easy to keep “frankensteining” one component onto another to solve on problem after another. It takes great dedication to reduce a building into only it’s most necessary and rational components. It’s not minimalism. It’s true resolution.
Three words to describe your design style.
Ordered, thoughtful, & balanced.
What hobbies, activities do you enjoy outside of work? Fun fact about you.
I am a runner and a hiker! If I could spend the rest of my life walking and running outdoors, I’d be a happy pup. I’ve hiked the John Muir Trail, and I can’t wait to go back and do it again – but faster this time! I’m also an obsessive cook and a loving dad.
