University Terrace – Faculty & Staff Housing

Stanford University, CA

BUILD A COMMUNITY  Located just two blocks from campus, University Terrace is part of a new master plan that includes two condominium buildings, single-family homes and cottages to provide much needed faculty housing. Standalone fitness and community buildings with swimming pool, as well as a community park and adjacent children’s play area, are also included.

FEELS LIKE HOME  Designed to reflect individual and families’ lifestyles, units provide open-plan living with abundant natural light. Full height windows and French doors, as well as a defined entry foyer, create a sense of spaciousness and the feeling of a home rather than an apartment. A more contemporary aesthetic rather than a mock-historicist design was chosen to reflect an evolving university perspective.

KEEPING EDUCATORS LOCAL  Proximity to campus, innovative unit design and home ownership as well as family-focused amenities help Stanford attract and retain highly qualified faculty challenged by the Bay Area burgeoning home market.
